Churidar Salwar Kameez

Churidar kurta in recent times have gone through major design changes. Whether the work is done with embroidery, heavy threads and sequin works, or patchwork it is sporting more variety in design than ever. Dupatta or Chunnis, an important part of the whole attire, also has some forms of designs on these. In the same way the neck styles of salwar kameez has also gone through several changes and sports more innovativeness than ever.

In fact, the new part of the attire where much experimentation is going on now, is the neck designs. From simple round and V neck traditional designs to hotter and contemporary halter and collar neck- all types of neck designs are incorporated in the churidar kurta sets. As more and more consumers are targeted, this variety in neck line is expanding to fit in several occasions.

There are salwar kurtas in embroidered motifs for the major part of the dress to inspire an ethnic look. With this type of more traditional design, an innovative round-V neck combination will go perfectly. This will be a combination of traditional design with contemporary thinking. Pathwork in bright colors, depending on the body color of the kurta will bring an attractive contrast. Similar patch work can be done in the sleeves as well. With light dupatta in patch work or in zari work will make the entire outfit a gorgeous one.

anarkali salwar kameez

Anarkali style in salwar kameez is reigning supreme. This design incorporates high empire waist design combined with a simple neck-style. The samke combination if round and V neck together can go well with Anarkali churidar-kameez also. Coupled with long semitransparent sleeves, these salwar-kurtas look very attractive. The same patch work or even stone work can be woven around the neck-line to make it look more appealing.

The main style change in Indian ethnic wear has been inspired by the “east meets west” motto. Salwar kameezes are not an exception any more. Along with the designing changes in the main body of the attire, the most experimented part is no doubt the neck line. Some of the most obvious styles that are winning the heart of the bold and young generation are the halter neck, spaghetti style and also the collar neck line.
